Sheppard's of Decay

A circle of druids from the Mire of lost souls, the circle sprang up from the druids of the tribes there observing how life and nature grow from dead things, though not undead-unnatural. Realizing the Mire had turned stagnant they circle use their abilities to try and move nature along to allow new life to rise from the death. Working in small groups of two or three, the druids move dead or dying back to the land to try and create new life. The druids have a disgust with undead, seeing them as unnatural.

Fey age

In the aftermath of the Crisis of the Fey age and the closing of the Void Tear, the situation in the mire turned more complex for the druids, with pockets of nature starting to regrow, but other parts of the mire turning more undead. This has lead to the nickname blighted druids as they try to restore nature to the area.

Tenants

  1. Doom is inevitable - All things must end so new life and understanding can grow as part of the cycle of nature, such things should not be feared.
  2. The many over the few - Cutting off dead flowers allows new ones to grow from within, this is the same in mortality. If few must die for the many to thrive and survive then so be it.
  3. Sheppard the lingering - Those who refuse their death, ever by their own or another's design must be pruned to make way for the next generation.

Only in death, can new life grow
