Prothyra
The main settlement on the island of the same name, Prothyra is situated on the coast of a volcanic island, the town is surrounded by rich fertile land and plentiful seas. Know one knows how old the settlement is with records of it existing even in the early Draconic Era. Despite it's age however it has remained small, it is primarily a hub for the vast farming areas.
While the town hasn't really been involved in events too heavily, it did get a small influx of refugees during the Crisis of the Fey age. This has lead to it being in the background whenever people talk about the Gem sea. The town itself is built around the dock and central market with a small industrial section just around the docks.
