Crestfall
The biggest settlement of Undina, the exact history of Crestfall is unknown, with even less being known by non-Dwarfs. What is known is that the 'city' was around during the old Draconic Empire, though it was never mentioned by the Phervian. Trade reopened shortly after the Slave rebellions started, with trade opening with the Orkish settlements of the blessed plains.
A single large room with benches along the sides and a throne made of a single slab of hard granite at one end. This is the throne room, where the council meets, the Storm Lord holds court, and important trials are held. The main door opposite the throne acts as the main entrance from the courtyard, with a smaller entrance being available behind the throne connecting to the Platinum Palace.
The central ward is a temple complex to Grim Blackstone, including rooms to prepare and store the dead. The other wards are all graveyards and mausoleums of various noble houses. This acts as the graves for the whole of Crestfall, with even family halls that would traditionally have their own mausoleum have a ward in the Necropolis instead.
Major areas of Crestfall
The 'city' is spread over three mountains and is split into fifteen urban centres called halls, each boasting between three to ten wards, several of which are split into districts. These are connected by a network of tunnels and caverns, with various smaller halls in the gaps. At the centre of all this is the Titan's halls. With the exception of Titan's head the rest are done in alphabetical order.Titan's halls
Also known as the Titan's Palace, this is the administrative centre of the entire Underempire, these giant hallways are split into three sections all off a large, elaborately decorated hall adorned with statues of the five Dwarvish noble caste gods.Platinum palace
The most decorated area of the halls is the home to the Storm lord, ruler of the entire Underempire. At first, it seems like a traditional palace, with a distinct lack of servants and servant areas, however, on closer inspection, a 'mirror' of the palace is just behind the walls where the servants, live, move around, and work, access to the main palace is done through secret doors in every room. Each of the palace rooms is highly decorated, with the entrance doors having platinum reliefs.Granite Throne
A king shouldn't be comfortable when holding court, lest he forgets his duties-Inscription over the king's entrance to the throne room.

Hall of Stone
The largest section of the halls, it is a vast library with the full history of Dwarfs, including lists of every caste and who's a member of it on the Western continent. A large assembly hall stands to one side.Entrance Halls
The first hall when you enter Crestfall from the outside. It is the only hall with areas built to accommodate any race, though this is only parts of two wards. The area is split into five wards, with the central ward being split into three districts.First ward
The smallest ward of the hall, it is the gate to the outside world, as well as several watch posts and defences. The main area is built for non-dwarfs but the other areas are specifically low ceilinged to make it hard for attacks to get through. The ceiling towers have heavy balisters at the bottom.Foreign ward
The central ward, and the one built entirely to accommodate anyone. Split into three districts, Entertainment, Merchant, and Diplomatic.Entertainment
A district filled with inns, taverns, and dens. it serves to house visitors and give them a place to drink/lose their money.Merchant
A large square allows people to set up stalls to sell wares, though Dwarfs own shops within the area.Diplomatic
A more upscale area with luxury inns and meeting areas, it also houses a small proving ground and theatre.Guard posts
While this is technically a single ward, low tunnels wind from it to every other ward, allowing guards to travel hidden from aggressors. The ward itself is a upside down tower above the central square of the Merchant district. It houses barracks, armouries, store rooms and a small smithy. Other watchtowers loom from the ceilings of other wards also are part of this ward.Dwarven ward
A ward built for the dwarves who work within the hall, mostly residential it does have entertainment facilities and a shrine to the gods within. It also has the entrance to the Underempire and rest of Crestfall. The Warrens
The biggest ward of the area and underneath the rest of the wards. While not an official ward, it does exist and acts as home to those who have lost everything above, it is also where casteless tend to end up. Run by a thriving criminal network, it is said you can hire any service down there.Magma town
One of the few halls on a single level, Magma town is deep underground requiring a massive network to access, causing several to believe it is a town in it's own right, though it's real name has been lost to time. The hall sits in a large boiling hot cavern at the root of the mountains. It is split into five wards, each separated by the magma flows and split into districts according to it's purpose. While classified as a hall, the fact it's not carved out of stone but built makes it closer to an actual town. The entire owned by the smith's caste, though a few Rune and Warrior castes to support. Only greatest smith families get to live here however, creating a concertation of some of the greatest smiths in Undinia. The Cinder Palace
More of a palace then a traditional ward, it is a large marble, granite, and obsidian structure that is mostly abandoned, though every set of laws from at least the Draconic era declare it a holy site. Too big for Dwarves, yet too small for Giants, Rivellian scholars who have seen images of the structure have commented on it's similarity to the little first era architecture found. The structure stands at the centre of the hall with each ward connecting by solid bridges of a strange stone.Steel ward
The northern ward is the most populated in the hall, with every building doubling as a forge for the smiths and a home. The forge is built underground with a small magma pool for heat, with a second runed basement providing storage . The centre of town is dominated by two large buildings, the first being the council halls where the heads of the smith families discus matter of the town, while the second is a temple to Thurdrak Hammerhand. The Lonely road
A massive reinforced granite fort with a Magma moat to the east of the cinder palace, the Lonely road actually refers to the passage just past this fortress that leads to the surface. Long since caved in, the little passage that's left is full of traps and dangerous creatures that have entered from other parts of the mountain. The Fort itself is home to around hundred warrior caste families, though many were dishonoured warriors just seeing out their days in the early era of ages, after the Fey age the force was more disciplined due to the increased demons in the mountains.Life ward
The southern ward is coldest place in the cavern, an underground river was redirected through to provide water for the town, this water despite the decrease in temperature does turn to steam allowing it to be sent around the whole town through pipes with cooling runes at the end to change it back to water when needed. This hall has the smallest population, giving as much room for the water as possible, though the population houses the entire rune caste within the settlement.Giant ward
The western ward is home to a fire giant tribe that work with the Dwarves for material benefit, but mostly keep to themselves. It should be noted that this ward is also the one with the lifts and stairs to access the rest of Crestfall due to the size of these ancient mechanisms needing the giant's strength to work. The Necropolis
The major hall of the northern mountain, it is also the northern most hall of Crestfall, with the imperial road above it. This has led some to argue whether it is part of Crestfall. A large spiral staircase, surrounding a lift, leads from the central ward with walkways leading to the growing number of wards.
