Changelings

One of the sub-species of shapeless beings created by the Vedalken, Changelings were created with more humanoid forms using fey magic.  

Appearance and Biology

While Changelings can appear how they like for the most part they keep the basic physiology of a humanoid. In their natural form the tend to be a greyish blue humanoid with, no hair, white eyes, and liquid like skin.   Changlings present themselves which ever gender they prefer, not having an actual gender. It is unclear if changelings have organs like other races or just mimic them, though the do need to still eat, drink, and breath. They also reproduce by merging the bodies together slightly creating a mixed form within one of them leading to pregnancy.  

History

While Changelings were servants of both the Vedalken and Draconics in the past, their use as informants and spies by the Phervians, either willing or unwilling, created distrust and in some places hostility throughout the early era of ages, with the Akoomite Empire nearly driving them to extinction under the Imp. This distrust, combined with their few number lead many to find themselves on the outskirts of society.   Things began to change in the Fey Age with Lokz being a member of Grunkle's Angels and promoting unity between the groups. Though a group were set up to hunt those that misused their form changing gifts, things got more lenient with many Changelings starting to integrate in society again by the the 3rd Decima Fey, though many nane magical rulers still viewed them with suspicion.
