The first, and most important, battle between the Vidu and the Devys High Guard.

The Battle of Hemitt's Expanse was a large-scale {sand battle} taking place over {Hemitt's Expanse}, between the {Vidu} and the {Devys High Guard}. Hoping to claim the capital, the Vidu gathered a massive assault team from almost their entire population, and mounted the attack. They were not prepared for the High Guard, an army being built to counter the Vidu threat. A force of 13 {sand trucks} and about 150 {suited} warriors met the Vidu's 9 trucks and nearly 300 warriors on the vast stretch of erg between {Cha Tesid} and {Cha Gisdom}, and the fighting began. Numbers were a great advantage, but after a long and bloody battle, the Vidu were routed.
