Adriana - Night's Daughter

Adriana was one of Perlachio's nine students. Unto her he imparted much of his knowledge about the skills associated with being a master thief. She is known as the thief who was never caught. Many legends are attributed to her on her homeworlds of great heists. While unlikely that she was responsible for the majority of the legends, that she was capable is rarely questioned. She is believed to be of human ancestry. Her appearance has always been the same, thick black hair falling down her back, her hair having a slight shimmer as she moved. She is always described as having skin which is pale white almost translucent with a slight blue undertone as if she was cold. Her stature is shorter and her figure is slight in build. Whenever she moves, little wisps of darkness follow her, her footprints trail black for a few seconds. Whenever she touches or picks up something, it cools slightly as small tendrils of shadow briefly smoke away for it.   Though centuries old, she is not believed to have ever had any children.   Perlachio found her and her sister, Lavinia, in his home city. According to their shared accounts, Perlachio came upon their mother who was offering to sell her young children. Whether he paid or just took them is unknown, though the story hints that he did not deal kindly with the mother whom he viewed as being the worst kind of person.   During her later years, she would aid Perlachio in the construction of the Glimming, a powerful artifact she used in honing her abilities to harness and manipulate shadows. Legend has it she eventually tied the elemental forces of shadow to her very being.
