Expedition

Accompanied by other guides Raga goes with a scholar to uncover an ancient tomb deep within the Waves. Within the tomb they found the skeletal remains of people straight from folklore and lots of lost treasures.

When Raga was about 12 an archaeologist came to the Waves and like most travelers stopped at the Frozen Wave Inn. The archaeologist discovered about a tomb that was somewhere in the Waves but off of the main trails and was willing to hire guides at a premium to take him there. This scholar wanted to find the tomb and learn more about the history of the Waves and the Nuossa Nualestota Miylian Elders who used to live in Knomm Grähi. Raga's mentor, a guide to the Waves, agreed to take the scholar with a few other guides due to the danger of the mission and helped Raga talk to Tiutme about coming along as it would be a good learning experience.
  After several days the tomb was found and some of the guides stayed outside to watch the Waves and the camp, while Raga went into the tomb with the scholar and his mentor. The scholar found a coffin inside the tomb with two skeletons lying inside of it. One was a male skeleton of a Zapriu Ussa one of the fabled snake people that was blessed by the old god Qaydith the other skeleton appeared to be a female possibly Ērā Heyḥa. This would be a discovery that would change the face of both history and mythology which made the scholar excited as he took notes of everything about the tomb.
  As the scholar started taking pictures and notes Raga heard his mentor talking to someone within one of the earlier chambers of the tomb who didn't sound like the other other guides. No one could have followed them into the Waves as there were no other tours and with how dangerous traveling the Waves without a guide can be. However, Raga had heard of Dragons who might dare to enter the Waves through Portal Magic. Raga turned around to see the guide following behind a strange man, who was called Schaudteif. Schaudieif grabbed the scholar and threw him away from the coffin before shutting it and yelling about graverobbing.
  After some persuasion from the scholar Schaudteif did allow the tomb to be studied the tomb for two pentads. During this time Raga became friends with Schaudteif by playing Found You in the tomb. The guides set up a temporary anchor in front of the tomb so they would be safe from Magical Storms. Raga started to look up to Schaudteif as a mentor of sorts as he taught Raga a great deal about Fa Geinn and how to survive in the Waves. After the expedition, Schaudteif would visit the town and continue helping with Raga's education who started looking forward to Schaudteif's visits. Over time Raga started to see Schaudteif as a father figure.
