Prophecy of Dragons
"Destined by birth, a princess blessed with the mark of the dragons, shall stir the slumbering embers of an ancient and long-forgotten flame. By wielding this lost power, the princess will usher in a new era of tranquility, extinguishing the smog of darkness that hath plagued the realms for millennia. Steered by the shadowed hand of divinity, she shall awaken the legacies of legends or those who are the key to fate’s peace and prosperity. Only she, who doth share the blood of dragons, will harbor the authority to unveil their hidden resting place and bring them forth to restore balance between realms once more."- Ryhel, Goddess of Beasts
Summary
The Prophecy of Dragon's initially spread across Ulythia following the death of Thaldrin The Eternal. The elder dragon sacrificed himself, by gifting his essence (i.e. his strength, wisdom, power) to a mortal male born of the Silverwing bloodline. His essence, also know as the dragonik spark, would remain dormant throughout an excess of three millennia, until being brought forth by a rare celestial occurrence, the Sundown Eclipse.
It is then that the prophesied princess, Princess Atheria Silverwing is to be born. Her birth is to take place during the first ever Sundown Eclipse. The celestial event will blanket Ulythia in darkness for the entire duration of her mother's labor. In addition, this celestial occurrence promises to awaken the dormant dragonik spark. Then, with Thaldrin's essence alive and coursing through her veins, Atheria will harbor abilities no mortal has ever possessed. The knowledge of Atheria's birthright will remain unknown until her 10th birthday (AS-MMM.11.12, or the 12th of November, Age of Silence year 3,000). On this day, as on the day of her birth, another Sundown Eclipse will occur. This celestial event will silenty influence Atheria, causing her to accidentally actuate her inherant fire magic during her birthday celebrations. In doing so, the princess will unintentionally set flames to the castle gardens. As many Silverian's bear witness to the incident, the news of Atheria's gift promises to spread swiftly across the realm.
These events are to take place during Silveria's 300th year of prosperity. Prior to this era, Silveria was subjected to the malevolent acts brought upon the realm by the southern kingdom of Volkain, ruled by the Blackfires. When Atheria is revealed to be the prophesied savior, her people will be overwhelmed with a newfound faith that their kingdom will continue in its prosperity forevermore. The Silverwing family will devise a series of plans to aid in Atheria's fulfillment of the prophecy.
The princess will be met by both good fortune and countless challenges on her path to destiny. If she's successful as the savior of realms, the entirety of Ulythia will enter into a newfound era of peace and tranquility. However, should Atheria fail, it will cast Ulythia into a Dark Age shrouded by evil and ruled over by the monstrous Blackfire crown.
Historical Basis
The prophecy was written during the Age of The Aiyon Gods.
Throughtout the mellennia of the Aiyon gods' dominion, the world was shaped and reshaped as each god ruled in isolation. During each age, a single deity ruled above the realms, their influence defining their eras of dominion. This entrance and exit of reigning deities began with creation and lasted the course of seventy-two thousand years. In the final era of divine reign, the residing goddess, Ryhel, Goddess of Beasts, would become the unforeseen catalyst to the Pantheon's exodus from the mortal realm.
During her reign, the goddess Ryhel was known as the guardian of balance and the protector of all living creatures. Her love transcended across all of nature and the untamed wild. Often sharing her company with the dragons, Ryhel found herself entangled in an epic love with Thaldrin, The Eternal, arguably the most revered and powerful of the elder dragons. The Pantheon, governed by strict self-imposed laws, forbade the romantic and/or physical unions between gods and mortals, this law prohibited even the unions with divine creatures such as the dragons. Ryhel was not swayed by this law, as she believed the love she shared with Thaldrin defied these decrees. Afterall, Thaldrin was unlike anyone Ryhel had ever known in her celestial lifetime. He was not only strong and wise, but he also had a profound understanding of Ryhel's vision for the perseverance of harmony across the realms. Over time, their respect for one another would grow and manifest itself into one of the most fearsome tales of forbidden love.
When the other gods discovered Ryhel''s defiance, their fury was unmatched. The God of War, Malifaz, in particular burned with jealousy as he had long coveted for Ryhel's affection. Now scorned by her favor for Thaldrin, Malifaz rallied the gods against Ryhel. In an effort to save herself and Thaldrin alike, she returned home to The Empyrean in hopes to garner forgiveness. As she pled her case to the gods, Juliel, the Goddess of Life and Motherhood, one of Ryhel's closest allies, sensed the unthinkable. In her attempt to aid in the goddess's defense, Juliel mistakenly divulged to the Pantheon that Ryhel now carried Thaldrin's offspring. This revelation hurled the gods into a deep state of chaos. The God of Love and Hate, Olishev, used his divine ability of empathic vision to invade Ryhel's memories in an effort to find the truth. Sure enough, the vision showed that in a moment of despair, Ryhel shapeshifted into a mortal form in order to be with Thaldrin. Their fleeting moment of passion led to conception. Olishev pitied the goddess, for he’d witnessed her unending devotion and irrevocable love for both Thaldrin and her unborn children. Unfortunately, his pity would do nothing to help Ryhel, for he’d already exposed her truth to the Pantheon. At odds with each other, some of the gods found themselves sharing Olishev’s sense of pity, though many did not. In a final decision, they sentenced the goddess to live out her eternity on the mortal side of the veil in exile.
Malifaz refusing to accept this as an appropriate consequence for her blatant act of disobedience acted outside of the Pantheon's judgment. Malifaz would declare Ryhel's legacies to be an abomination. Arguing that they would inevitably bring about the disruption of the natural order. He successfully convinced a large portion of the other gods to sanction his search and destruction of the unborn beasts. This in turn caused the fracturing within The Empyrean. Ryhel, now exiled in the floating isles of eastern Ulythia, became privy to their hunt just in time for her and Thaldrin to devise a plan to save the eggs. In order to ensure their children's survival, the lovers separated the eggs and hid them individually within Ulythia’s ancient lands of wild magic. They also shielded the eggs with powerful wards as a secondary means of protection. Unable to locate the divine eggs, Malifaz's rage intensified. Thaldrin knew the God of War would stop at nothing. He knew that like his offspring, his life was now forfeit as well. There would be no divine intervention on his behalf therefore, he sought out a concrete way to preserve his essence in hopes that one day he'd be able to aid in the protection of the legacies.
Thaldrin, unaware of the oncoming exodus, believed bonding himself with a mortal human over one of his dragonkin would ensure the oversight of his plans by the gods. Having very little involvement with mortals, it took Thaldrin slightly longer than he’d wished to locate a promising heir to bind himself to. His search eventually led him to a male of the Silverwing lineage. It wasn't just his promise of a royal bloodline, but the individual human's rare understanding of the dragons and their shared bond with the natural world, drove Thaldrin to choose him above anyone else. Imbuing the Silverwing with his very essence Thaldrin promised an unending line of descendants blessed with the dragonik spark, a power that would remain dormant for generations, and hidden from the sight of the gods. Following the bonding ritual, Thaldrin shortly passed onward leaving the realms behind.
Upon the reflection of their dominion, the majority of gods believed their presence promised more harm in the mortal realm than good, therefore as a collective they retreated, abandoning it along with Ryhel to the Age of Silence. Their exit fueled the foretelling of the prophecy by the goddess. Etched throughout time and space, she scribed the words with the tears she wept over the loss of her love and the forced abandonment of their unborn children. The goddess declared that the Silverwing bloodline would inevitably birth the prophesied savior. This savior would surpass all mere mortals and embark on a journey towards the restoration of balance between the mortal and the divine realms. If successful in their quest, the savior, imbued with Thaldrin’s essence, would awaken the divine legacies bringing them forth into the mortal realm. This unification between the dragonik spark, and the inherently divine dragons, promised a future that'd cease any malevolent influence of Malifaz’s, snuffing out his very existence once and for all. In her refusal to believe Malifaz had so easily abandoned his anger to join in the god’s exodus, Ryhel made an additional vow to sacrifice everything for the fulfillment of the Prophecy of Dragons.
Whispers of Ryhel's prophecy and her divine vow traveled swiftly across the mortal realm shortly after the gods exodus. At the dawn of The Age of Silence, just before entering her millennia long primordial rest, Ryhel directed her sacred words down into the wilds of Ulythia and to the elder dragon Balthazar, Thaldrin's only brother. Receiving the news of his brother's tragic demise, along with the tale of what lied ahead, Balthazar was mindful and steadfast as he ignited the spread of the prophecy, branding it into Ulythia for the remainder of time.

Variations & Mutation
Over the millennia the dragonik spark dormant, Ryhel's words had become fractured. No more did the masses remember her children. Upon Atheria's birth, the prophecy had been broken in half relaying only the goddess's first claim, "Destined by birth, a princess blessed with the mark of the dragons, shall stir the slumbering embers of an ancient and long-forgotten flame. By wielding this lost power, the princess will usher in a new era of tranquility, extinguishing the smog of darkness that hath plagued the realms for millennia..."
It would not be until Princess Atheria's 19th year that she would learn of the rest and the importance of unveiling Ryhel's eggs. The mortals had unknowingly forgotten their significance, though the fates kept Ryhel's entire prophecy alive in their kin, the dragons. It would be an elder female dragon, loyal to the Silverwing's that would enlighten the princess, and send her embarking on her journey to awaken the legacies.
