Fortress Plate
Thick metal plates line the surface of this armour, giving the user the look of a moving fortress with their head peeking over the battlements. This is perhaps the heaviest armour a being could physical ware without being crushed under the weight of it.
Heavier amours may exist, but they are unable to be used without the aid of mechanical or magical assistance. There is great pride in many that ware this armour; That they carry the weight on their own shoulder, and not on the backs of a giant exoskeleton.
The weigh of these great plates cause it to become a weapon in its own right. Its mighty fists effective enough maces for soldier.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
The helmet rest on the shoulder plates. It is far to heavy metal to relie on the head or the neck muscles alone. This does have the unfortunate side effect that the water must move there whole body if they are to look up or down.
