Ahwol
When a being becomes saturated in dark magic
Beings reborn of dark magic, Ahwols feel apart from the real world. They are Immortal in spirit, but without any control of their own fate when their body is destroyed. Their spirit always sent whirling into the grasp of something with glowing eyes.

Basic Information
Biological Traits
Ahwols all but disappear from the world when in direct sunlight or in places of holy magic. They completely lose the ability to interact with the world around them. Their bodies, along with anything they were wearing, become completely ethereal* and totally invisible to the naked eye. Only their glowing eyes remain visible during this time, but only if seen head-on. Ahwols are fully restored from this effect upon entering an area of darkness.
Ahwols have described this sensation as not too different from being underwater, just without the slowth of movement. Indeed, any that stays too long in the sun will disappear forever, just as a diver may drown.
Ahwols can also turn inviable in a similar way when in near complete darkness while still retaining the ability to interact with the world. But their softly glowing eyes will much more easily give them away.
*This is to the extent that if they were wearing metal spikes, they could not harm anything with them, and arrows pass straight through them. The Ahwols eyes still remain vulnerable during this time.Biological Cycle
Awhols fade with the passage of time. Their bodies become more and more ethereal until they disappear forever. refilling thier bodies with dark magic just as the Ayeliads, restors the effect of the ravages of time.
