~~S Wolf Deer
A wide raning spciese of creatures strongly resebling a deer but with a few key difrances. They are lower and slightly stockyer with hevey-toed paws in place of ture hooves. But it is thier jawline that break the most with tradition. They are far more pointed and canine and filled with wolf-like teeth that they will raidly bear at the slightest hint od danger.
Wolf dear are for the majority hrbivors, though they are more than capable eating meat on occasion. Dispite thier appearncee they rarely act in a predatory dasion and as a rule will not kill for the purpose of eating unless on the brink of starvation. Thye will however radly eat carrion and even creature that they have kill for the perpose of self-defence.
On encounterin a creature that if percives as a threat they will bear their teeth cleched firmly together and produce a noise thought the gaps between their teeth. This noise has been described as a deep, wiwstling growl. If pushesh they will start to shake their head around violently and move back and forth towards the target in a ramming motion. If this display failse to diture its perceived attacker, it will usually then run away unless it has young to protect.
On post mortem examination of a wolf deers skull it is revied that there mout is almost devied tonot too main sectors. Pointed caines bristilng at the front, and are granting molers located at the back. When fed it is obsverd they their will almost throw the majority of their food to the back of their maouts directly as a result of this arrangement,
Unlike most mammels, male wolf deer are actually smaller than their female counterparts. However they do feature a large pair of wire antlers then end ech of iture instances in sharp points. Females lake these antlers but have much larger and more vicious looking teeth capable of ripping huge chunks out of anything unluck enough to rose them to action. Though they are admittild verry hard to push to the point of attack and will only do so as a last resort if unable to flee or if they have young.
It is positied that the rather impossing teeth of the Wolf Deer have evoled mainly as a form of preditor deternt
Like most natural creature, Wolf Deer are highly susaptable to the effects of supernatural corruption. And their exist several sub species that have fully "embraced" such corruption. In generally this produces a wildly more aggressive and predatory creature as is common with most creature affected by such corruption.
