Dragons are powerful creatures. Often able to fly and always able to inflict terrible damage on anything unlucky enough to catch their ire. However as with all things, even they have preditors that they must make plans to defend against.
Dragons come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes largely dependent on their environment. A dragon born to the rivers will be long and slender, flowing much like the waters themselves. Whereas a dragon born in the mountains will be strong and stoic, but much as susceptible to outbursts of emotion as a mountain is to landslides.
Types of Dragons
Dragons come in four main catiogrise.
True Dragons
or "Living or Chromatic Dragons"
These are generally the image that comes to mind when somebody thinks of the word Dragon. Though not always in the same shape they are most generally recognized as their namesake in form and function.
Imbodied Dragons
or "Metalic, Lithic, Elemental or Daeatic Dragons"
While draconic in appearance, these entities are often aberrant in their nature if not totally beyond it. They are often fixed in their ways or locked to a certain way of being.
Psedo Dragons
or "Neirdargons"
These are creatures that have a large number of characteristics of Dragons but are not fully in possession of enough of them to be considered a true dragon. These often take the form of such a creature either not looking much like a typical dragon or being in possession of a more animalistic nature than one.
Animate Dragons
or "Undead or Construced Dragons"
These are Dragons that have been made, not formed by the natural processes. While they can possess all of the qualities of a natural dragon or even have formally been one, they cannot be categorised as one.
