Nethiral

Dead language revived

Nethiral has existed in Ortha since long before Ortha's discovery. Through study of the abyss and it's residents, Nethiral was brought back, and is now spoken by some residents of Ortha.
This language bears no similarity to any other language in the slightest. Each word stands on it's own, and many posses multiple meanings. Few words have written forms, and direct written translation to common produces strange results.
Without assistance from the few living abyss residents, Nethiral would have been considered impossible to decipher.
The complexity of the language, coupled with its ties to the abyss, means its only users exist within Ortha or the abyss itself.  

Words with many meanings

Most words in Nethiral hold several meanings, which while similar to each other still require context to determine intent.
Typical words have 3 meanings of varying weights, when no context is able to be found, the meaning with the highest weight is a safe assumption.
Certain words may hold only one meaning. These words are used for special purposes and cannot risk any confusion in intent.
Some words are used in a frequent combined meaning way, allowing conversation to flow somewhat easier.
