Tripod of Sending

To activate the item, a button is pressed, and a message is spoken (25 words or less). The user must specifically designate which tripod the message is to be sent to. Once a message is sent, the receiving tripod will begin to glow green. To receive the incoming message, the button is to be pressed again. A minute cooldown is needed between message deliveries.

The Tripods of Sending were created in the year 561, 7 years after the Time of Technology.
Significance
Tripods of Sending are the pinnacle of long-distance communication. Being the third remake of the Sending Stones, this item can allow for long-distance communication from tripod to tripod. The delay between delivering and receiving messages in only a few seconds and the recharge rate between uses is a surprisingly short 1-minute. As expected though, this item is particularly expensive, averaging over 5,000 gold per set. As such, this item is mainly used in communication towers, important government zones, and in the stock market where high-speed communication is needed.
