Sypha Valtova

Sprocket has relatively messy, long, dirty-blonde hair, usually tied into a braid. She has a pair of horns that curve back and forward, though no tail.

Sypha, like many artificers, have the ability to form and infuse special magic items. Unique to her though, she has the ability to make multiple magic items at a seemingly break-neck pace. During her time in Ostkusteland, her compatriots would hand her pieces of devils or demon parts. She could quickly convert seeming trash into oddly useful items. Whether it's turning a demon's bones into a spear, or repurposing the chains from a chain devil into a usable whip, her occult fascination is what allows her to accomplish such feats.

Sypha usually wears her standard-issue armor, covered with an orange sleeveless-tabbard. More often than not, she's seen with a pair of round-lensed glasses.

Sypha is usually armed with a volcanic pistol, and eventually a lever-action rifle. Her main firearm is always infused with a Repeating infusion, making sure ammo and reloading wasn't an issue.

Sprocket was born in Cahaisten in the summer of 556. She was always rather explorative and intrigued in all things magitech, especially in the recent boom that was the Time of Technology. During her time in the Cahaisten army, she was graciously given the position of Combat Engineer. Her time in the army involved handling smokepowder and breaching orc encampment walls with (in)appropriate amounts of explosives. During one particular deployment to fight off a major orc encampment, she was caught in a premature blast when she tried to breach a gate. The blast rendered her left arm shredded apart. She was later discharged from the army. Not one to be deterred by such a setback, she traveled southbound to Thorcester City, where she entered an apprenticeship under a team of crafty gnomes. It was there where she constructed herself a fine prosthetic arm for herself, alongside a myriad of knowledge involving all things magitech.    3 years and a Journeyman Artificer title later, she soon began to hunger for a more dynamic life. Turns out that a certain company was looking for someone with plenty of technological know-how. That company was Argent Accord, a special organization that specialized in the hunting of dangerous monsters; and it was based in her home country. A long bus trip later, she found herself back in Cahaisten, at A.A's HQ. She was put to work, her artificer knowledge utilized. Repairing and modifying Forza Wagons was her primary job.    In the year 581, she was sent off to Ostkusteland for a major mission. The old nation had reports of dangerous fiends appearing out of nowhere. Armed with a pistol, a multitude of tools under her belt, and a new obsession with the demonic and devilish, it was her time to shine.

Sprocket is quite intelligent, if a bit eccentric. She spent 3 years as an apprentice under craft gnomes in the famous Thorcester City. She became a proper artificer, turning her interest into her main skillset. She also does some more independent studying on the occult and the fiendish. While she was but a tiefling, her interests in devils and demons of the lower planes interested her quite a bit. The local university's library was more than able to provide for her unorthodox thirst of knowledge.

Sprocket is currently an artificer for Argent Accord. She regularly works on anything from Forza Wagons, to weapon and armor repairs, to even building weapons.

Sprocket loves all things magitech and fiendish in nature. Specifically on the latter, she knows that there's a lot of useful resources that the lower planes can provide. She's a part of A.A. less for the money and more to satisfy her own thirst for knowledge and adventure.

Being raised in the countryside on a farm, her regional accent when speaking the Common tongue is somewhat described as "hickish" or "low class." This often makes her seem less intelligent than she actually is.
