Spark Rod

Spark Rods are simple small steel rod. The rod has a thin piece of copper wire in the center, with the steel acting like a sleeve. The centers of the rods contains a pressure-sensitive button. When enough pressure is placed on them, usually around 3lbs, a full connection is made and the Spark Rod begins to produce electricity at the tip of the rod. The electricity produced is very minor, comparable to a static shock, but the stream of energy is constant as long as the button is pressed.   Spark Rods produce very little energy and as such, last a decently long time. Most machines require the Spark Rods to be replaced after 3 weeks of usage, although quality varies from producers. If taken to a designated workshop, a trained artificer or wizard can recharge them.

Spark Rods, though small in size, play a pretty massive role in the building of the many Forza-powered machines. Many of the crystals require a small amount of initial energy in order to begin producing energy of its own.
