Heskin Rekalio

Sir Heskin Rekalio was born in the Rekalio clan in Cahaisten in the year 375. When Heskin was 10, he began his training as an elite warrior. His training lasted for 7 years until he was officially granted this title by his clan elder. Wanting to leave his country, he went south and eventually made it to Verska City, Valesco. There, he applied to join Valesco's army.    Heskin was knighted in the year 402 after a major orc raid on Verska City. His bravery and leadership allowed him to be knighted by the king of Valesco, granting him a new full name of Sir Heskin Rekalio. A young, proud knight, he decided to take a short trip back home, bringing honor to his clan.   In the year 414, Sir Heskin aided in defending Verska City from a goblin raid. There, he saw the first fruits of the Newly Righteous' works. He led a group of adventurers throughout the battle and fought with great valor, even sizing up against the massive abomination that spawned in the middle of combat.   Many weeks later, Sir Heskin decided to go on a trip back to his home clan to visit his family again. He journeyed back and brought along his retainers. Tragedy struck far too soon during this trip though. A group of Newly Righteous hitmen had been tracking the group. All of his retainers were killed on sight. Even though Sir Heskin was armored and well-armed, his death was so quick, sudden, and violent that he could hardly ever react. At the site of the murder, it seemed as if he was brutally impaled by some sort of blade. The strange part was that the blade went directly through his steel chestplate and out the back, his heart split into two. A funeral was held for him days later.
