Fate/Tynaria: Centrum Bellum

Fate/Tynaria: Centrum Bellum is a campaign that takes place on Darnolia Alt. The campaign runs from level 5 to level 8. This campaign is special in that the campaign is meant for no more than 2 players. The players are required to play as either a Summoner or as a Servant, with one being a Summoner and one a servant. If only one player is in, the other character is ran by the DM. This campaign is meant to give the experience of a visual novel-like story; meant to be an homage to the Fate/Stay Night visual novel. In contrast to FGO and Novus Sanguis, the players' backstories are incredibly important to who and what happens in the story. Given all this, it is highly recommended that the players and DM are actually invested and fans of the Fate series as a whole.  

Synopsis

In the year 549, the 5th Holy Grail War is about to begin in just days. However, something is different about it all. The Grail has chosen not factions or nations, but rather individuals. All individuals chosen hail from the famous Hybrida Magica University in Romashire City. While this means that full-on wars between nations won't need to be done, the 7 lucky, or unlucky student mages will need to fight for their lives. They are to summon their servants before midnight of 550.   You have been chosen as one of the Summoner Masters. You've heard of the Holy Grail on numerous occasions during your studies...but now you have a chance to actually claim it. Do you seek the grail's power? Do you want to make sure the grail doesn't fall into the wrong hands? As far as you can tell, the only ones that know about this event are the chosen few.  

Expectations/Game Style

This campaign will be very RP-focused. Players are recommended to speak as their characters as often as possible. Combat will be rather different to typical D&D encounters, as it will mostly be between servant and servant. Player character backstories, as stated before, are incredibly important. The master in particular should have a main idea goal set in mind, while the servant may act as either a foil or antithesis to it. Regardless, both players (if there are 2), are still to work together and cooperatively. Much emphasis will be placed on other NPC's and locations.   Unlike a traditional D&D game, this campaign will allow for "reloads." In certain paramount decisions and forked paths, the actions of the players may lead to an unavoidable death or defeat. When this happens, the campaign will promptly rewind to the moment where the last decision was made. Players should expect to be defeated at least a few times.
