The Pale Lady
The Pale Lady was a woodland spirit that was said to be a protector and adversary to Briarglen and its cult hero, The Bull of Briarglen. In some stories, she actively assists in the protection of the village. In a handful, she stands idly by as the village and Bull struggle. A few unique stories, however, show the Pale Lady in direct opposition to the Bull, tales seen as trials.
