The Cottlemere

The great river divides the Chimeric Realms to the west and the Milosz Khurungate to the east.   Centuries ago, before kingdoms and dynasties ruled, loose tribes would live along the Mighty River, worshiping the spirit that resided within it as it passed from the great Silver-Tipped Mountains into the Reddic Sea, and freely trading with neighboring tribes from across the river. The lands to the East were plentiful in horses, and the lands to the west were rich with plentiful livestock, most importantly being oxen, the symbolic animal to Pelathin, and the staple to a farmer's lifeline. Before tensions rose and wars would break out over control of the river, it was seen as the unifying line for two lands to freely trade and interact with one another, as neighbors.
