Grubu Slackjaw
Warchief - Dragon-Slayer Grubu Slackjaw
Once an ax gathering grunt in Thrall's new Horde, Grubu rose within the ranks thanks to his curious and friendly nature, a quality Thrall wished for the new Generation of Orcs. Now, Warchief of the Horde, Grubu continues to follow Thrall's ideals for a better, more peaceful Azeroth and to create a safe haven for his people.

Personal history
Grubu was born and raised in an internment camp where he and his family were miners in the Hillsbrad Foothills. As an infant, his captors would antagonize Grubu due to his over-developed jaw and underbite. One fateful day, one of the wardens tore Grubu away from his mother's arms to "play" with him, leading to the Warden dropping Grubu on his soft head. Years following, the wardens now began to antagonize Grubu for his speech pattern and obsessive questions, regarding him a "slow". Grubu proved to be useful, strong as an ox when he was but a child, and he never lost his kind or curious nature despite the torture he had endured.
When Thrall liberated the Internment camps and began leading the New Horde, Grubu was unaware of what had happened. He was unable to comprehend that he was liberated, and he had continued to serve as a grunt, unaware of his new freedom. Slowly, but surely he realized what had happened but Thrall, whether from pity or from kindness, refused to let Grubu be a warrior, instead, giving him a job as an Ax Gatherer, a made-up profession to appease Grubu's need to feel useful.
It was not until the start of the Third War did Grubu begin to realize that he had the gift of Shamanism, an old orcish tradition that was lost shortly before the First War. Due to the Blood curse, orcs were unable to commune with the Elements, but the Elements chose to commune with Grubu, allowing him to control fire and earth. With his gifts recognized, Thrall began to utilize Grubu within the New Horde designating him as Far-Seer. After the Third War, Grubu began to train Thrall and a handful of orcs in the ways of the Shamanism, restoring a part of Orc culture that had been thought long-forgotten.
Grubu's power continued to rise, both through the Horde and through the elements. By the time the invasion of Northrend begun, he was now an advisor to Thrall. After the war against the Lich Queen, Thrall stepped down from the position of Warchief. Grubu took over the mantle after winning a battle to the death for the position against Garrosh Hellscream, son of Grommash and commander of the Horde during the invasion of Northrend. Grubu Slackjaw is still the acting Warchief, continuing the legacy Thrall started while Thrall continues to train in the ways of the shaman.
