King Midas has been consumed by cursed gold given to him by the The Demon Prince which has turned him. He's no longer the same noble king he once was, now he's a ruthless tyrant hellbent on gathering as much riches as possible he also has a desire to control every living being this is due to the influence of the gold making him driven by greed giving him a lust for wealth and power . He made his vault with them depths of the temple within Aurum peak where he lead an army of Demons and cultists to help spread his rule and collect riches for him. He had full control over the valley during his rule before his defeat he was the richest living creature. He was defeated by Oswin the knight during The battle of Aurum Valley he became trapped under the volcano however after he was defeated inside his vault his soul transferred into the Souls Gems in his eye which was given to him by the The Demon Prince to allowing him to live forever as long as he held the gem. This allowed him to start his final transformation into a full dragon.
