Clockwork

Clockwork refers to any technology that is remaining from the old world. Clockwork inventions have revolutionized the way that people have gone about life. There is no longer any need to pull back crossbows by hand, clockwork mechanisms can auto-draw arrows. Gears and cogs are found everywhere. While most applications are simple, such as a self loading crossbow, some applications are wildly complicated and their knowledge has been lost to time. One example of forgotten technology is the existence of the Royal Guards, guns, and (most notably) The Pearl Isle itself. Rumors and legends have always been around that the knowledge has been forgotten with an entire profession, but proof has yet to appear.
