Arcane Genesis - Sorcerer Origin

The "Origin of Arcane Genesis" speaks to those sorcerers who can trace their magic back to the very dawn of arcane energies in Tumna, channeled through the divine power of Ulus, the god of Arcane & Magic. Unlike other sorcerers, those of this origin have harnessed an arcane essence that is pure, unfiltered, and primal. Their powers are said to be the archetype upon which all other arcane magics were modeled. A sorcerer of this origin must be a devout follower of one of Ulus's religions - be it Angshire Spirits, Path of Ulus, Ulus Beliefs, or the more controversial Ulusian Heresy. Their magic is both a gift and a responsibility, a direct link to the universe's arcane heart.  

Wisdom of Ulus

At 1st level, your devout connection to Ulus grants you insight into arcane mysteries. You gain proficiency with Arcana. With a successful Arcana check, you can decipher arcane symbols and writings, even if they are in a language you do not understand. Additionally, once per long rest, you can add double your proficiency bonus to an Arcana check.  

Prophetic Glimpse

Starting at 6th level, Ulus's domain of prophecy begins to manifest within you. Once per long rest, you can use a reaction to either gain advantage on one saving throw as you foresee the immediate threat, or make an attacker roll once with a disadvantage on their attack against you.  

Arcane Channeling

Upon reaching 14th level, your bond with Ulus's arcane might allows you to enhance your spells. Once per long rest, when you cast a spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose to channel the raw power of Ulus. The spell is then cast as if it were one spell slot higher than the one you used, even if you don't have a slot of that level available.  

Seeker of the Loom

At 18th level, your understanding of Ulus's connection to the Loom of Ethernity lets you tweak the threads of fate. A number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), after making an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you can choose to reroll the dice and must take the new result. If the outcome is in your favor, the world briefly shimmers, indicating your manipulation of fate's threads. You regain all expended uses after a long rest.
