Arcane & Magic - Cleric Domain

Clerics of the Arcane Domain worship Ulus, the God of Arcane & Magic. These clerics are gifted with the knowledge of arcane magic, bridging the gap between the divine and arcane arts. They often serve as advisors or guardians in Arcanum Luminaries, safeguarding the weave of arcane magic and serving as conduits of Ulus' will. To be an Arcane Domain cleric is to acknowledge and be a part of one of the deity's religions, be it Angshire Spirits, Path of Ulus, Ulus Beliefs, or Ulusian Heresy.   While many clerics can heal wounds and bring solace to the suffering, the Arcane Domain clerics possess a unique blend of divine and arcane abilities. They can unravel mysteries with a flick of their fingers, tap into arcane reservoirs previously unknown to most clerics, and stand on the frontlines as beacons of magical might, all while channeling the blessings of Ulus.

Bonus Proficiencies

At 1st level, you gain proficiency in the Arcana skill. Additionally, you gain proficiency with one type of artisan's tools of your choice that's related to magic, such as calligrapher's tools for scribing spells.  

Arcane Adept

Starting at 1st level, you can tap into the weave of arcane magic through your connection to Ulus. You can learn one wizard cantrip of your choice. This cantrip counts as a cleric cantrip for you, but doesn't count against your number of cleric cantrips known.  

Channel Divinity: Unravel Magic

At 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to unravel the magic of others. As an action, you present your holy symbol, and one spell effect of your choice within 60 feet of you ends. The spell must be of 3rd level or lower. If the spell is of 4th level or higher, make an ability check using your spellcasting ability. The DC equals 10 + the spell's level. On a successful check, the spell ends.  

Mystical Defense

Starting at 6th level, whenever you or a creature within 10 feet of you takes damage from a spell, you can use your reaction to grant resistance to the damage of that spell.  

Potent Spellcasting

Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.  

Divine Arcanum

At 17th level, your mastery over arcane magic peaks. Choose one 6th-level spell from the wizard spell list as your arcanum. You can cast your arcanum spell once without expending a spell slot. You must finish a long rest before you can do so again.
