Elves

Elves are a diminuative race of humanoid beings closely associated with fairies who inhabit the eastern woods on Mesthre. They are very similar to Dwarves, which also native to Mesthre. They are known for their kinship with the forest and nature in general, supposedly being able to speak to fairies and animals. They have good relations with the kingdom of Aphonea, which they rely on for trade.

They have recently been attacked by an army of monsters sent by the demon king. The forces were led by a Nightmare of ills, poisons, and rot. Their deepwood shrines were attacked and corrupted, spreading vile miasma throughout the forest. They are the latest of the kingdoms to fall, being the furthest away from the demon king's castle.
