Ysgard

A plane full of lush fields, great mountains and winding rivers, this plane is very beautiful, though it cannot compare to the natural beauty of Arboria. The only thing that could ruin this picturesque landscape would be the constant moving of the islands of earth that this land sits on top of, along with the ringing of metal on metal and the sounds of battle. Ysgard is the Chaotic Good plane of warriors and heroes. It is also home to Tritherion, God of Liberty and Freedom. Like it's polar opposite, Acheron, this plane is full of constant battle and war, though it is not full of evil and there is no malevolence to this combat. The main trait known by the rest of the planes is the fact that no one can die within Ysgard. Anyone killed during the days combat is resurrected the next day. This only works for those killed in the honorable combat of the days events or if Tritherion wills it so. While the name of the plane itself is Ysgard, so is the name of one of the layers of the plane. The top layer is known as Ysgard. The other two layers are known as Musphelheim, a realm of fire, and Nidavellir, realm of earthen caverns.

Geography

The first layer, Ysgard, is a set of floating islands in a sea of air, surrounded by rivers of rock and fire. They are constantly shifting. The main landmasses are very similar in geography to the Prime Material. Many forests and mountains, with shifting weather. This weather has no rhyme or reason to its shifting however.
"Ah, Ysgard. Where the beer always flows, the fighting never stops and you can sate your curiosity about dying horrifically. One of my favorite vacation spots." -Braccus Morre, Planeswalker.
