The Institute of Planar Research
A institution of learning, magic and mechanics, The Institute of Planar research was established to study the Inner and Outer planes of the universe. Originally, the college was strictly mages, it has expanded it's ranks to include engineers, combat instructors and some priests and clerics over the last 50 years since it's founding. It rose to prominence after successfully creating a portal to Mechanus, The Plane of Law, about 30 years ago. Bringing back the technology they found there, they were able to reverse engineer it. Because of their efforts, The Osmium City and Lordren as a whole is now much more technologically advanced.

It is a private institution, so it does have tuition for students. The I.P.R also continues it's work in portals between the planes.
