The Galzanite Goddess
As the old legends go, after the creation of the planet and its moons, there was a being created from stardust brought to life. Her name was Aurora, named after the miriad of colors and stars speckling the night sky. She was the first lifeform on the entire planet. She fell in love with the planet's different landscapes, from the giant, snow covered mountains, to the vast, sand filled deserts by the sea. She knew she couldn't let this planet go unseen, she had to share it with as many living beings as possible. She started with plants, creating bright flowers, tall trees, and soft grass. She filled the planet with plants suited to each wonderful environment. Some say she borrowed inspiration from her favorite plants from worlds she saw while she was still just stardust floating through space. Soon, she created animals and insects to share the planet with. She created fish to swim in the endless waterways, birds to fly in the limitless skies, and animals to roam on all the different landscapes. She had filled the world with so many unique new species, it finally felt like the beauty she saw could now be felt, heard, and truly enjoyed by many.
Aurora spent a very long time on the planet, but slowly, she grew lonely. She didn't have anyone to have a conversation with. When she was just stardust, she could speak to all the other stars, but now, she was alone. She decided to create one final species, a being that looked, talked, and behaved like she did. She created just one, so he could feel as special as she did. The two of them were inseparable for such a long time. Then one day, her friend told her "We don't belong here. There's no one else like us. Don't you think there should be more people to talk to?"
Aurora couldn't deny it, she herself was getting lonesome again, even if she hated to admit it. She knew it was selfish of her to only create one of his species when she made hundreds of everything else. She knew she had to create more, and she had to make each one of them unique, but she wanted them to thrive, and the best way to do that wpuld be to give them a resource to help them grow. The best way to make sure it was spread evenly was to fill the ground with it, spreading it apl across the planet she fell in love with. She used the last of her powers to create the rest of her wonderful species. With a final goodbye to her friend and favorite creation, she sent her physical form into the planet in the form of gemstones and minerals, and her spirit back into the stars to watch over her planet and her people. She no longer felt so alone, and she had finally found somewhere she had felt truly at home.
