Tempotil, the missing city (tempa-tɪl)
Tempotil was an odd thriving place having been founded in the forgotten era, it was a massive city of primarily humans how were very much technologically advanced; pistons, steam vents, flintlocks to revolvers and stop watches.
from the central point of the city being the clock tower spanning outwards things got less enveloped by technology, and more gripped by the dogma of the one religion of the city, only ever referred to as the god.
the city was broken up in to 7 / 10 districts for the preposes of a weekly tithe that was determined from the general districts wealth. (if the district was rather poor they were expected to play less and in vice versa for the rich.) spanning from you were not expected to pay at all, to 3 gold a week, you would expect to pay a tithe minimum of Y x 62 in a year.
