Seldanna Nightstone
She commonly feels in harmony with her natural surroundings and an examination of her art helped to justify this belief. She would do her best to have a minimal impact on her natural surroundings. As a child the elders saw how she loved to work with wood from making bows to sculpting wood, and because of this she was taught how to make specialized bows and arrows that were wood elven crafting secrets. She even learned how to work with obsidian stone to craft blades and arrows. Because of her talents she able to go with her parents (Kymil – father and Maelyrra – mother) when they would go to trade (or at least that is what she thought it was). She got to meet some peoples from other races and wood elven tribes. On one of these trips with her parents she got to meet a dwarven boy (Bordeas Runeforge), they always seemed to be in the same circles. At first, they really didn’t get along mostly because of the prejudices of their parents. She learned that he was a mountain dwarf and of some importance but never learned why he was important. She thought it quite odd that he lived in the mountain. Any ways, he was as close to a best friend she would ever have. She would eventually stop going with her parents as they felt it was time for her to learn her place and prepare for her vision quest.
She learned that her parents were very important in their tribe. They were more than just elders. They ran it. She also learned that she had an older brother (Alamon) whom she knew as Captain of the Guard. She was grateful that she would never have the responsibility of her parents and that of her brother. She eventually confronted her parents and brother why keep all this a secret from her. Her brother only did what her parents wanted but now that she knew they became close. He would help her prepare for her quest and take her to the location it would begin.

Seldanna's elders took note of her passion for carving wood, and thus taught her the crafting secrets to specialized elven weapons from obsidian stone. Seldanna practiced her talent whenver she joined her parents, Kymil and Maelyrra, on many of their trading trips. Most of their ventures involved other tribes of wood elves. While some select others brought her in contact with different races. One in particular was a trading expedition to meet the mountain dwarf family known as the Runeforge Clan. A dwarf boy among them, Bordeas Runeforge, always seemed to be in the same circles whenever they came to trade. Prior prejudices made the beginning relationship between the two younglings rocky, at best. This eventually changed throughout their exposer to each other, as curiosity of differences lead to the greatest of friendships.
Bordeas taught her much about his world underneath the mountains, as she did for him about the life of an elf of the woods. Seldanna would always note that Bordeas was of some importance to his family, but never pursued the subject.
Eventually, trips to see the dwarf would cease, due to her parents' wishes to prepare Seldanna for her vision quest. One of the steps was for the young wood elf to learn that her parents more than just elders of the tribe. They were their leading elders.
