Odin planned ahead to find Vazemin the next time he was on Acrophya, but each time the Devil arrived, Odin just barely missed the opportunity to follow him through the portal. Try as he might, the unicorn could not escape Acrophya on his own. So he honed his skills, particularly the magic that could allow him to harness light. This made him faster, as well as stronger. A beast that Vazemin would want if he ever needed strong creatures to fight for him. That was Odin's way out.
And finally, the opportunity arrived where Vazemin was searching for an army of beasts who could distract a fantastic fighting force from the
Draconian village of Evity. Odin made his way to the front of this army, displaying his abilities. He overestimated, however, how much Vazemin cared. He didn't expect these animals to survive. They were a distraction, and anything would do if it could move and fight long enough to be a nuisance. But Odin was sure to be the first out of the portal. He would do everything he could to never be trapped like that again. From then on, he would be free.
Evity
There was great disappointment in Odin when he found that the village of Evity had been isolated in a ring of fire. He had not freed himself, but instead he'd gotten trapped in another cage. He needed a way out, and so he ran around the village during the chaos of Vazemin's invasion. He wanted only one thing: a way out.

Silentium by Jarhed
Instead, he found himself confronted by a strange man, another Devil, named Silentium. This man was an enemy of Vazemin, but Odin didn't care about that. All he saw was a strange man in his way, so the unicorn attacked him, trying to stab Silentium with his horn and get on with his plan of escape.
Silentium fought back, and the two had what Odin calls an "epic clash" before Silentium dropped his dagger as a sign of friendship and extended a hand, asking to work together. Odin was not sure if he could trust Silentium, but if he knew anything about Evity, Odin believed that Devil may know a way out. Odin wished to see the world, and Silentium was his chance.
The two fought Vazemin, sending him back to Acrophya and forging a friendship in the process (with Silentium learning for the first time that Odin could speak to him through telepathy). Odin himself had never communicated with any humanoid before, though he said he'd spoken all the time with Papatūānuku, so he was prepared for conversations with anyone.
Even after Vazemin was defeated, the fire around Evity did not go away. Only when Silentium and Odin faced another Devil named Regular, defeating him, were they finally free. When the fire went away, however, they were not out of the woods yet, as another army converged upon them (this was when Odin learned Evity was caught in the middle of a war known as the
Chief Crisis). This was the army of
Waire, another Draconian village.
The forces of Waire began attacking Evity, but Silentium did not fight back. Instead, he recognized one of the people in the opposing army: his "bestie"
Sinner Caerxan. This was the first time that Odin met another resident of Totania he would grow close with, this
Korvian friend of Silentium, who at the time was rather shellshocked after a supposed run-in with a
vampire in
the Elven Forest. Odin didn't put much stake in this, calling it a tall tale with no foundation in reality.

Sinner Caerxan by Jarhed
Odin was present for the end of the Chief Crisis in
Zephys, though he refused to step-in during the final battles against
Vodron Susk and the allied
Village Chiefs. He was happy to get to see new places in the world, and had no desire to face such powerful opponents so quickly.
Around the World
Silentium took Odin everywhere he went, from
Votarra Den to the underwater city of
Lorev. Odin was happy to see the world and meet the other animals that Silentium had begun taming (though he was proud to be the first of them, and to have inspired Silentium's passion for animals).
It was in the Northern Islands, however, that Odin realized something. There was only so much satisfaction he could get from just traveling the world. As he heard the story of a man named Kin Glorev, a warrior of the revolution, Odin realized he had no other motivations, no goals, nothing else to live for but sightseeing and helping Silentium. As Silentium dedicated himself to the rebellion, Odin too swore (on his own) to uphold the good fight against tyranny and help all those Silentium cared about, animal or man.
Odin had already been well-known in certain parts of the world at this point. The villagers of Evity knew the unicorn that Silentium rode in the battles of the Chief Crisis, the students of the
Magic College of Zephys knew Silentium's secret weapon, his friends met Odin in the stables outside of the
Eltan Mansion, but it was following this new promise to himself that Odin would become more of a worldwide name, as he and Silentium (alongside other allies including Zaud Foot Marauder and Silentium's partner at the time,
Caddos Damolnath) took out a group of pirates in the
Northern Sea, then attempting to repel a joint invasion of
Elone by the armies of
Moroza.

Timar Forestarm by Jarhed
They tried their best to fight the army off, but
Tsar Sackerton was too strong for them, and ultimately they were captured by the man who did defeat the encroaching army:
Timar Forestarm. Odin's name went from a recognizable one to those who had met him to a household name in the Kingdom of Man, as it was published alongside the other "criminals" taken in by the new King of Mankind.
It was a big story in the Kingdom of Man because, while it wasn't out of the ordinary for Nereids or
Orcs like Caddos and Zaud to be captured, there were not often Devils around, and there had never been a unicorn held captive by the King, at least as far as anyone knew. Rumors began to spread that Odin had done something truly terrible to deserve this punishment, including some who blamed him for the death of the former King
Ku Regalcrest or said that the battle at the
Church of Athena was somehow Odin's fault.
It has since become a joke in the Kingdom of Man to blame Odin for terrible things. When one has no other excuse, they say "Odin did it" or "Odin made me do it." When there is no conceivable explanation for something, Odin is used as a scapegoat until the real culprit can be found.
Odin was, of course, upset to be in captivity again, but this time he was at least proud to have stood up for something. He was quickly freed, which is something few in the Kingdom of Man were ever aware of. It wasn't a major story, as Silentium escaped with Odin quickly.
Dejected and distraught, Silentium wandered the
Uncharted Desert, believing there was nothing he could do to make a difference in the world. Odin, unable to do much else without Silentium, Odin worried that he too was not able to make a difference. And so he and Silentium spent two years in the desert, roaming and pondering their place in the world.

Caddos Damolnath by Jarhed
They then found someone causing trouble around the desert, and when Silentium confronted him, he found a man named Alsamt. Silentium knew of Alsamt, he'd met him before and hated him, for Alsamt would never shut up. But Alsamt revealed himself to also be Silentium, from a different timeline, and told Silentium he could still make a difference. He couldn't wallow in self-pity or demand silence from all of the world, for tyranny and evil thrives in the silence of good. He needed to always try to do his best, always make the world better wherever he could and never ignore evil when it appeared.
For Odin, this inspired him again, reminding him of the promise he'd made to himself after Kin Glorev. He needed to do good, even if Silentium wouldn't or couldn't. He had to do something, and so he and Silentium made their way back to civilization.
Odin helped Silentium make his way through the Magic College graduation tournament, though they lost to Sinner Caerxan. He then traveled back to Zephys with Silentium, where he aided him in trying to stop the
Coup of Zephys.
They failed, though Odin had saved the lives of many innocents caught up in it. The issue was, when Silentium, Sinner, Caddos, and others were captured by a group of powerful Devils and dragged to Hell, Odin was not there with him. He couldn't catch up, like when the portals of Vazemin were too far for him to reach, and Silentium was taken away from him.
Ten Years of Hell
Kualmandac Hiziros, butler of the Eltan Mansion, looked out for the animals of Silentium for a short time, but soon he, too, had to leave to try and save the people trapped in Hell, and the mansion was entrusted to Odin. He did what he could to watch over it, but his job was mostly to feed and care for the other beasts Silentium had tamed.
He also tried to keep the city of Zephys safe, which was difficult to do after it came under the rule of the
Head Priest of the
Temple of Helle, Vornush Wrakris. Wrakris claimed that the city itself was now his, and no one would be able to enter or leave it without his permission. Odin exploited this, as Wrakris was only speaking of people, and didn't expect there to be a unicorn in the city dedicated to thwarting him.
Particularly oppressive policies instated by Wrakris ended up clashing with the unicorn, who would attack Wrakris's enforcers and stall his plans in whatever way he could. He told tales later of even fighting Wrakris on many occasions, though these stories (like those of him in Acrophya) should be taken with a grain of salt. Odin would travel outside of Zephys, mostly communicating with allies in the villages like the Village Chiefs of
Yirthum,
Ealla, and Evity: Jargar Eltan,
Vardid Liloryas, and
Kaltoth Vracrath. As long as he could keep them updated, he could keep the city safe without any of the Draconians needing to enter it.

Vornush Wrakris by Jarhed
But he missed Silentium. Hell, he even missed Sinner and Caddos. He missed all the people he'd fought alongside and grown to care for in his earliest years on Totania, and no wedding celebration between
Lorakaen Darelor and
Finethir Shinebright or feast thrown by
Oraakil Mardaar would change that, thought it would keep Odin's mind off of things for a short time.
The ten years of torment in Zephys would end when Silentium, Sinner, and Caddos would return alongside other members of the
Army of the Revolution that Silentium had joined at the request of Kin Glorev. Many of them went to stop Wrakris, but Silentium's first priority was to go to the mansion to see Odin and the other animals again. Reunited at last, they had another set of adventures waiting.
Odin met the other revolutionaries, who gathered for one last meeting in the Eltan Mansion before promising to meet again to fight the Korvian Tyrant and then take down
the World Court in Stallbourne.
Voyage to the Mountains
Aboard a ship with
Nalrik and
Yilkin Tilrak, alongside Silentium and other revolutionaries, Odin sailed east through the
Abral Islands. The intention was to go to
Udai from the east while another group went from the west, surprising the Korvian Tyrant from both sides.
Odin helped fight off armies of Kamejin,
Lizardfolk, and Orcs before they finally reached the
Hall of the Mountain King. However, he was not allowed inside, instead remaining outside of the mountain in case they needed a swift exit. He was upset to be left out of the biggest fight of his life, as he wanted to help, but he managed to still help by guiding those that got there late (such as
Kathleen Ramone and Hadon Leran) to where the others were inside. He also watched over the refugees who were freed from the mountain, depowered Korvians who were kept captive by Tyrant. For once, Odin was able to use the freedom he had to help others to freedom.

Aaren Ildial by Jarhed
He then helped lead them east, as the city of
Modan was built. Odin was not present to defend the city when it was invaded, as he had traveled west with Silentium to take out the corrupt priest Linfire. And as that finished, he and Silentium set off back to Evity with Sinner. There was one more thing they needed to do before they could meet up with the revolutionaries in Stallbourne.
The Vampires of Evity
Sinner had founded a group known as
the Vampire Hunters, and there were two vampires he needed to take down before he could move on to the final stage of the revolution. First was an influential Draconian nobleman named Aaren Ildial.
While helping Sinner with this, Odin began to realize that perhaps those tall tales he'd heard when he first met Sinner weren't all fake, and that maybe there really were vampires out there that needed to be stopped. Odin didn't fight Aaren personally, but he did aid in the battles against his puppets around Evity. Whereas once Odin had fought for his own freedom in Evity, now he fought for the freedom of the entire village from its puppetmaster vampire.
After this, Sinner said there was only one more vampire to kill: the Great Vampire Lord
Dresmorlin Cobath. He said this battle would be dangerous, and those that didn't want to die didn't have to go with him. Silentium said he would stay with Sinner til the end, and Odin too had no desire to give up now. After all the lies he'd told about fighting great monsters, how could he stop when the greatest monster of all was waiting for him?
Odin was last seen entering the forest alongside Silentium and the Vampire Hunters to fight Dresmorlin Cobath, and nothing has been seen of him since.
Information
Horn
Odin has a golden horn that is the center of his power, and serves as his main weapon as well. It is a pointed, spiraled horn at the center of his forehead.
Hair
The haircoat of Odin is white with golden speckles around it, but his hair proper is a bright gold, said to shine when he uses his magic.
Personality
Odin is a somewhat brash unicorn, prone to inserting himself into conversations (even just with his reactions, which are said to draw attention to him more than even his telepathic speech). He makes up stories to make himself and those he cares about look better, but he always runs hornfirst into battle and never runs from a fight.
Abilities
Odin has a myriad of abilities common to unicorns, and they are as follows:
- Telepathy
- Healing
- Light Magic
- Flight
- Light Speed
These powers all come from his horn, as a blessing bestowed by
Papatūānuku.
