Arderos Empire (Ard-air-ohs)
The historical Arderos Empire was the previous incarnation of the Torpor Aristocracy. During the great war of Congregation, the empire was overthrown by Human, Elf, and Dwarf dissidents. During the war, the surrounding nations took advantage of the chaos to take some of the empire's land, making the Torpor Aristocracy significantly smaller than its predecessor.

The Arder was the common coinage of the Arderos Empire. It was the simplest form of economy, with only one denomination of currency. A single Arder was the approximate worth of a silver coin.
