Lady Corrila Larenhale
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Her wood-elven skin gleams faintly like parchment under lamplight, her wrists lined with jeweled watches that tick-tick-tick in eerie synchronicity, her beautiful dark red dress perfectly accentuates her hourglass-figure . Her chin and cheekbones easily outsharpening the average nobleman's intellect crowding her.
Identifying Characteristics
Lady Corrila Larenhale can be easily recognized by the intricate timepieces she carries with her, not just for use, but mainly for decoration. It is said that each watch carefully follows its own rhythm and time. But the location? That is only known to her.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Once a charming noble and clockmaker, Lady Corilla Larenhale 's sole joy was gifting exquisite timepieces to any guest who visited her estate. But some weren't on time. Pity. A true shame. Perhaps unforgivable.
Her obsession with their tardiness led her to explore even more elaborate clockwork pieces, delving into chronal magic and searching for a way to ensure the entire realm would run in synchronous harmony, toward any aim she desired. She pursued this goal incessantly, but even her longer life-span isn't enough.
Employment
At trolltide, during her costume party, Lady Corrila is attempting to ascend to full lichdom, she merely requires a number of rare components to complete her phylactery and of course some sacrifices. She will pay any cost necessary to achieve this aim, provided those supplying them are punctual. Due to the nature of her chronal magic, Lady Corrila is fearful of leaving her estate-based lair, unsure of the impact it might have on her body. So naturally, she hosts a party on the closest holiday and invites guests with the power or gold to retrieve the items for her.
Morality & Philosophy
During her time researching the life-spans of certain creatures, she has spent centuries of her life coming across cures for previously considered incurable deceases.
Looking far younger than her near millennia of life would suggest, Lady Corilla's desire is to impose order in a world where she is no longer bound by mortality, or her self-made prison, surrounded by the octogenarian servants who fearfully do all she asks.
Social
Contacts & Relations
Maurice ''Rhys'' Lewis and Lady Corrila both share a personal interest in intricate machinery. From time to time, Maurice seeks out her aid when it comes to the finer details of his artificial eye and arm. These days, Lady Corrila doesn't get out much, therefore she's thankful for the tales Maurice shares when they spend time together.
In public, however, they have been the topic of rumours for some time now. Due to Maurice being one of the few that was allowed entry to her estate in the past few years, many speculated their relationship was one of a more romantic intent. Even though both thoroughly enjoy flirting with each other in public to spark these rumours, the two only share a platonic relationship build on mutual respect for their fields. To keep themselves entertained during the more boring noble events, they have been engaging in a game of ''flirtatious chicken'' where they try to see who can't handle the heat and backs out. So far, there hasn't been a winner (or loser).
Social Aptitude
Lady Corrila has always had a distaste for the company usually related to fortune. Anyone spending time flaunting around, boasting their fortune without using it for something useful is the most foul thing a creature could occupy themselves with.
Speech
The lady speaks in steady, perfectly measured tones, as if she has a direct connection to the plane of order.
