The Sword coast has never seen greater prosperity. In the 50 years since the Tiamat Wars, the Sword coast has built back better and stronger. Alliances have formed between the Dwarves of Gauntlgrym and the great Lord Commander Tyrena Rechs of Mirabar. The Cities of Neverwinter and Waterdeep have strong political and trade alliances. Dragonford has stabalzied realtions with Lizardfolk, and Dragonborn. The Strategic Sea Alliance (SSA) put in place by the order of heroes and lead for 30 years by Capt Pryor have put a virtual end to piracy and built a strong trade and commerce to the Entire region all the way down to Chult.

Things you Know about the Hight forest
High Forest Geography
- It's very large. Over 400 miles from SouthWest corner to the NorthEast corner and about 300 miles wide. It's about 70,000 square Miles. (It's roughly the size of the state of Missouri or North Dakota or a little less than twice the size of Pennsylvania.)
- It is about 200 miles from the Sword Coast.
- There are 2 mountain ranges in the forest, the massive Star Mountains in the Middle and the smaller Lost Peaks a bit more to the North.
- The Delimbiyr River flows from North to South along its Eastern Border.
There are several rivers that flow out of the Forrest
- The Dessarin River Flows from the Lost Peaks and exits out of the eastern side of the forrest
- The Heartblood River flows from the North side of the Star Mountains and exits out of the Western side of the forrest
- The Unicorn run River Flows from the South Side of the Star Mountains and exits out of the Southern side of the forrest
Known Denizens of the forest
- Many Elves and other Fey live in the forest.
- Some of the Elves are civilized and others are not
- Tribes of Orcs strike out from the forest to raid villages and attack travelers who travel along the roads or rivers near the forest.
- Some humans and mixed races live in the forest, but mostly live at the edge.
- Filled with common Beasts that you'd expect in a forrest including Bears, Wolves, snakes, OwlBears

Other rumors / legends about the Forest
- There are factions of elves within the forrest but they are not united. (Peace or favor with one tribe does not grant it with others.)
- There have been several ancient great Elven empires within the forest since the beginning of time.
- There are Lost cities containing unimaginable treasures and ancient evils.
- The Grandfather tree is larger than any tree ever. It is ancient, sacred and magical and is protected by fey and other magic creatures. Few have ever seen the tree and escaped the forrest to tell of it.
