After the citizen noticed that the dragon didn't stop the spread of the wasteland and only the barrier of the city stoped it, they destroyed every shrine and temple of the highe dragon and dragon lords. In additon, the white guards, who were build by the dragon lords, didn't stopped the citizen, were saw as a sign that they were in the right.
