Jobs, jobs, jobs

We start by asking around the academy. We find Dawid Czarny at the library in a reading room. Koda goes to talk with him, asking about the good and bad parts of town. Dawid was an orphan who had been here all his life. He's aware of "Undesirable" groups in the city. At the street level there is the Iron Crows, and presses Dawid for where might be to operate. They work with Dock Workers Guild.
There are two major ports in the city, Port Gabry and the Depot. The Depot is where all the Toresta ships come in. The Gabry Port is where all of the foreign ships come in. The Iron Crows have a strong influence in both. The 10 (the council of nobles) know of them and tolerate them since everything works.
The Clockwork Cabal
Very limited info. They leave a tiny gear at their crime scenes. They favor traps and synchronized timing. The Broadsheets love them because they are flashy.
The Carnival
Interested in stealing from the aristocracy. They are not as active, but when they steal they steal big.
The Sapphire Journal
A record of all the top families as well as anyone in a government position. Only people in the journal are eligible for government positions. No new families have been added for hundreds of years.
We decide to head over to Port Gabry, since several of us look like foreigners. We call a longboat and travel to Port Gabry and decide to start looking for information at a tavern.
Luna casts aid on herself, I'carus and Koda.
Looking around we see tall buildings. A few goliaths and halflings moving around. In addition there are veveral street venders selling food. Luna sees a store selling common clothes and buys two sets for 1 gp total. Luna changes into the new clothing (removing armor) to blend in. I'carus buys saur skewer for lunch and asks vendor about the city, where they get their food (about supply network) He recommends staying away from the dock sushi, and he talks about the fishing and saur meat.
A gong sounds signaling the end of the lunch break. I'carus talks to the vendor again and he says that the Iron Crows don't tolerate thievery and that people pay them to ensure things don't happen, and it seems to be working.
Put of the corner of my eye, Luna sees a large figure in an alleyway, looking rough ang flipping a coin.
