Page (Dated 10 Aug 2025)RS 1st month 1753 years after the founding (ATE) Luna's journey is nearly at its end.

Toresta the likely source of the leylines disruption affecting her home in the Melazian Forest. Gaining passage aboard a caravan as a guard and lending an extra hand with the animals, Luna and Nyx's journey was actually just beginning Joined a caravan of 11 wagons in Polcolis on its way to Toresta. Luna looks out to see a large herd of Confiservus, similar in temperament to buffalo, and sometimes used for meat, The herd (Taks) moving slowly away from the caravan.

Kid (Icarus?) and Takamo the passengers aboard the caravan and Luna and Mickey (goblin wizard?) The day passes without incident and the caravan of halfling wagons circle up for camp. Oribin Leaffbottom is the caravan leader. Small towns in the area have come to an agreement with local druid circles for harvesting of forest game and wood. Off to the side, a dragonborn chef prepares dinner for several workers. Luna gets some sleep under one of the wagons.

We're just a couple days away from Toresta. 26 1st Month 1753 ATE At midnight he witch begins, Luna and Nyx work together on patrols, Once an hour Nyx flies down for the recasting of Beast Sense, An hour—into her shift a heavy smell of smoke off in the distance accompanied by a soft glow. Suddenly, the ground begins to shake.

6th Month 1753 ATE Immediately following the rumbling some closer until through the darkness a stampede of dinosaurs: came through the camp. Nyxx provided early warning and Mickey's horse jumped knocking Mickey unceremoniously. Luna attempted to herd several of the stampede. Others south around the caravan. Only be success in diverting half, the others trample part of wagons destroying them. Miguel casts Fireball diverting many more. Luna circled back trying to divert more dinosaurs north and away from the caravan. Following the aftermath of the stampede, Oribin was in one of wagons that was destroyed and didn't make it.

We spent the next several hours counting the dead, which were most of the guards and chef were also either trampled or died when their wagons were destroyed. Miguel, being the next in line, takes control and gathers up everyone and has Koda round up several horses to continue with the remaining wagons. After 4 days we arrive at Toresta without any more incident. After going through the gate Miguel settles the wagons in town, provides each of us with a pouch of gold with 300gp.

Luna along with Fist and others to the local bath house. The bath house has a stone of cleansing that cleans us and our clothes prior to the relaxing bath. Following the bath a dwarf approached Miguel, very disgruntled about the loss. Apparently Oribin owed him something in the cargo. The dwarf Noldreg Greathand likely a member of the thieves guild, possibly the Iron Claws.

Inner Library Professor Heather Broadbeam said that when a leyline crosses a portal is created. For example the 2 major leylines that runs through: this city, the Fay Road/ and Deep Water leyline create a stable portal to the Shadow Realm/this portal is sealed and properly secure, however, if two smaller leylines cross, an unstable smaller portal may be created. Leylines also exist in the Shallow Pools however, there they all straight and do not move ground bodies of water.

Luna and Koda showed on a map where their grove/village are on a map so we can try to identify all the locations impacted by these anomalies. All 3 incidents occurred within the past 3 months. Following the meeting Luna also joined the academy enrolled in a class around the leylines, Koda and Mickey do the same; Icarus being an instructor of a class.

We are called into a meeting with Vonda who wants us to investigate the issue with the leylines. She provides us with a Leyline Diving Rod to help us locate them.

Unrelated, a Bethel is a church, often open air.

Venda is asking us to go to the Baltis District on look for anomalies. Something is off about them, were not sure what, but something with one of the leylines (Danilov or Deep Water).

As we travel west, about a mile and we see a large factory and in front of him is Miguel Frostleaf around quitting time having a conversation with the dwarf Noldreg Greathand. Taking Miguel by the shirt into one of the factories,

she saw Bithany appeared out of nowhere asking what we are doing, She saw the interaction between Miguel and Noldreg. We follow behind the pair, We find Miguel shot full of arrows, bleeding out but alive (not on death saving throw) and we enter combat against 7 goblins(?) and a bugbear.. Noldreg is nowhere to be seen,

During the fight, magic spells were acting chaotic, causing random effects, After goblins After the fight, the city guards stormed the place asking what just happened. The goblins seemed to come through the portal was all we could tell them. We left before they could ask any more questions.

We took a long boat back to the academy and provided our initial report to Venda Sharkboat who was deeply concerned of the opening of a portal. of the opening Note we will need to tell her of the chaotic nature of spells when is portal opened.
