Tomerian Laws of Magick

Magick in Tomeria is typically classified into 3 different types - Divine, Arcane, and Nature.    Magic or Magicka in Tomeria is the use of a energy from a spectrum known as the T'elrov Band. There are several ways this energy is used whether it is through a divine being granting you control over it, learning the arcane ways of manifesting and controlling it, or by it being a natural power within.   Each subset of Magick in Tomeria works a little differently when interacting with the T'elrov Band and the moral and universal implications vary wildly. However, the end physical (or not so physical result) remains the same, the controlling of the energy in the band.    Divine Magick   Divine Magick is mostly seen in religious healers or warriors that have not learned to control the T'elrov Band themselves through study or innate power, but rather as a connection through their god or being. Without their connection to some powerful being they lose most if not all their magickal power.    Magic through this domain also typically focuses on what already exists and fixing it or tearing it apart rather than bringing particles into Tomeria and materializing them like Arcane Magick.   Arcane Magick   Arcane Magick unlike Divine Magick is something almost any race can learn through study. Some are also born with an innate power of the Arcane and they are known as Sorcerers with their innate power coming from several different sources such as Dragons.    Arcane Magick is a very technical magick and focuses mostly on the finer control of the T'elrov Band and bringing in particles from the ethereal plane to materialize effects in Tomeria. This is heavily seen in the Evocation school of magic as spellcasters can bring in ethereal particles and change them to act as fire, lightning, or other similar affects.    Nature Magick   The original magick of Tomeria, Nature magick actually comes straight from the god Sprigg . It is made up of his essence that inhabits nearly all of Tomeria. Users of Nature Magick unlike the other two domains aren't directly taking control of the energy but rather coexisting alongside it and working with it to perform their desired acts or effects.    Nature Magick is also the most common of magic outside of the races of Tomeria, as it is seen in an innumerable amount of creatures such as dyrads, fey, and fairies that all have some amount of Nature Magick in them.
