Ghostwise Nomads
The 3rd and smallest of the Halfling Nations, the Ghostwise are a rare and nomadic people that travel across the Randurth Desert.
Structure
While the nomads are considered one large nation, they are made up of dozens of smaller tribes formed around a family based off the females in the tribe. The elder women lead the tribes day to day activities while elder men perform the hunting and deciding of where they will move onto next.
Culture
The culture of the nomads is based around a very tight knit community known for it's emphasis on tribe and family.
Demography and Population
The Ghostwise are the rarest of the halflings and number in the few thousands total. They are divided up into many small tribes spread throughout the Randurth Desert and are rarely seen outside of it.
Territories
They are known for occupying the Randurth Desert and being the major inhabitants and protectors of the Sand Forests. Due to the dificulties in trying to provide for families in the desert scholars believe that the Sand Forests have become something of a religious land for the Ghostwise and as such defend in vehemently.
Military
The Ghostwise do not have a standing army the same way the Stouting Kingdom does but during the War of Endless Aggression it was the Ghostwise Halflings that struck the most fear into the opposing armies. Known for their savagery and able to telepathically communicate they made excellent spies and assassins.
They were also known for their stunning defeat of the Human Armada off the coast of the Randurth Desert even after the majority of their fighting forces had left.
