After generations of conquest, the known world was at last united under the rule of the Emperor Remus VII Reymal
In the seventeenth year of the rule of Remus VII, the largest of the orcish barbarians were pushed out of the Southern Plain and into Lorane. Later the same year, the last of the Old North Kings bent his knee in worship and was summarily put to death. In the middle of the winter, the Eldar grove burned and the Elven High King fell in battle, signaling the end of the conquest of the Enchanted Forest, and the surrender of Elf and Halfling alike. At midnight, on the day the final surrender, the Emperor declared the beginning of a new year--and indeed, a new era entirely. [The Empire has finished the conquest of Arstol with the capture of Ystria Silverscale (6111) and the seizure of the Ystrian lowlands. The Empire conquers Vorsak, bringing its dominance of all Arstol to completion. Ystrian highlands and Bryol highlands are never fully controlled.]
