The Urisoril Empire had been steadily taking control of the east for a number of years, but their actions didn't come to the attention of Central Thurásin until the year 60 Redemption, when they crossed the southern tip of the Dividing Mountains. As such, despite the fact they had been conquering for many years, it was only now that the Era of Conquest was declared.
