Helm {Mortal}

Helm (he/him) is a character played by Darrell (he/him) in Arc 6: The Moon Pentad. He is an Orc, ancestral Barbarian, and a mercernary veteran.  

Description

Helm is a nearly 8 foot tall man with a muscular build, and he has earthy green skin covered in scars. He is most often wearing no shirt, a harness, a gambeson skirt and metal gauntlets and boots. The most notable piece of his outfit is the helmet he always wears that completely covers his face.   Helm is a big dumb guy who likes to fight. He is a act first think never type of person. He is very loyal to his friends and tries his best to keep people around him protected.  

Backstory

For as long as he can remember Helm has been a part of the Last Wardens mercenary company. The leader of the group, Javek Cloudbreaker took in Helm as a baby and raised him to be a competent warrior but unfortunately that's the only place Helm is competent. Two things have always been true about Helm; one, he has always been wearing his namesake helmet for as long as anyone has ever known him and two, he is haunted by the spirits of dead orcs. This second fact, unfortunately, has left him with a deep seeded fear of orcs and the refusal to realize he himself is one. He lives his life in vehement denial that he is an orc and doesn't take kindly to people insinuating he is one.  

Trivia

• There are 3 spirits that follow Helm around he refers to them as "The Cleaver Guy", "Scary Shield Lady", and "The Giant".
• Although they only fully manifest while he rages, Helm's ancestral guardian spirits always follow him around invisible to most other people. They come out during the rage because he is too angry to be afraid of them.
