Ecaterine Bosquoven

Ecaterine "Cat" Bosquoven (she/they) is a character played by Keiran (she/they) in The Whirring in the Woods one-shot. She is a wood Elf, great old one Warlock 1/rune knight Fighter 3, and a Haunted One. They are also the triplet of P Lonnex Bosquoven and Aerith.  

Description

Cat is about 5'10, still growing, and pretty buff. She spends a lot of time working out and training, with thoughts of becoming an adventurer. She has very lightly tanned skin, thick straight brown hair, and pointy little elf ears. She also has freckles and green eyes.   On the topic of adventuring, she wouldn't do that without her siblings, though, they're her lifeline. She cares fiercely about her siblings and would do anything for them, including adventuring out into the whirring Redwillow Forest. She's not very serious at all, pretty calm and friendly.  

Backstory of PC

Cat is a very young elf who grew up with her triplet siblings in Fallowsown. Plonx is the oldest, then Cat, then Aerith). She spent most of her childhood plagued by strange dreams of lives past and horrifying whispers, and became a bit of social outcast to those who didn't know her well. Eventually, she was able to speak with the whispers, who offered her powers at the price of a pact, which she took. They had become "friends" at that point, at least to Cat, and she took to the magic with a new fervor. While she enjoyed the magic, she wasn't ever super good at it, and it fell on the backburner a little while out of their adolescence. Her sibling Plonx, however, quite enjoyed the magic and made a deal with the being plaguing Cat using Cat as a sort of medium between the two. They were quite young, so the ramifications of making a deal like this weren't obvious then.   She took up fighting, practicing with swords mostly, though she wasn't much good at that either. A traveling adventurer by the name of Chad Rogers (see: Arc 3: Dragon Counter Courters) came across her in Fallowsown and taught her the ways of the chivalrous (minus the misogyny) Rune Knight, and she's been carrying that on to this day. The Great Old One she made a pact with is not super happy about this, and has been whispering about something soon to come, a person Cat will soon meet... Around the time that Chad left Fallowsown, and the whirring began in the forest, Aerith went missing. Cat and Plonx have taken up arms to find them, no matter the cost.

1. Cat is a reincarnation of Roz Ela, who in turn is a reincarnation fo Sawyer Everhart (see: Mal).
