Age of Lavandin
The Age of Lavandin lasted for 276 years. It begins with a coup, courtesy of Diacon Lavandin, and ends with the death of Nayeli Lavandin in Arc 7: Lavandin Legacies. It is trademarked by faulty and hubristic royalty.
The Lavandins
Simple history of the Lavandins include a civil war over the kingdom’s territories among different rivaling dynasties that ended in the slaughtering of many different families by the winners. The winners’ names have been “forgotten,” supposed to have been lost by time, but ultimately the truth is it has been stricken from any records by the Lavandins, who staged a coup and issued a powergrab that put them in power for 276 years. The man who staged the first King of Kauvet during the Age of Lavandin, Diacon Lavandin, a Human man.King Diacon Lavandin (Reigned 1-67 AL)
King Diacon Lavandin was the first king to rule a united Kauvet. He staged a coup during a tremulous time post-war and ushered in a new age. He is the father of Leonidas Lavandin.King Leonidas Lavandin (reigned 67-138 AL)
King Leonidas Lavandin was the second king to rule a united Kauvet. He's regarded as a loving protector of the people and a champion of learning. He is the father of Amias Lavandin.King Amias Lavandin (reigned 138-199 AL)
King Amias Lavandin was the third king to rule a united Kauvet. He is well known for his policies against changelings, resulting in their near eradication. Those policies were reversed by his daughter, Queen Everly, after his death in 199 AL when she became queen. He was married to Queen Claribel Mallinger Lavandin, and had two children, Nolan (who died in 150 AL) and Everly Lavandin, who became the next queen.Queen Everly Lavandin (reigned 199-274 AL)
Born 167 AL - Died 276 AL Queen Everly is an Aasimar woman borne to the human king Amias and was hailed as a blessing of the goddess Hecate upon her birth. She spent her early 20s in her adventuring party as their Paladin, helping people in whatever way she could. The stories of her travels are sang about across the kingdom, including the love story where she met her husband Jaeks, and she started a new tradition whereupon coming of age, if a person is able, they should join an adventuring party to give back to the kingdom as she did in her youth. She took the role as crown princess after her elder brother's early passing, and days after her father passed, she took the throne. During her adventuring party days, she also signed a covert agreement with Baron Strika that led to the Cleansing of the Blood and the supremacy of House Strika.King Consort Jaeks Lavandin
Born ? - Died 269 AL King Consort Jaeks Lavandin is the Changeling husband of Queen Everly. Songs say that the queen met him with her adventuring party, saved him, and he joined the party after the event. They married a few years later, right before she became queen. He has no real political power, only influence over the queen. Jaeks is the child of Vincent Van Vermeer XXIX and Jox. He kept his changeling heritage a secret, due to lingering resentment from the people thanks to King Amias Lavandin's policies.Prince Wies Lavandin
Born 203 AL Prince Wies is the first and only son of the queen and king. He renounced his claim on the throne and instead chose to get married to Orion Presch and live out his life in Acropolis with him. He is a human. Orion Presch (and to a lesser extent) Wies Lavandin were members of the rebellion that eventually ended Nayeli Lavandin's life and brought about the Age of Peace. Wies during this time wanted to be more active, but was generally kept under lock and key as a liability. By the end of Arc 7: Lavandin Legacies, both Orion and Wies self-exiled themselves from Acropolis.Crown Princess Nayeli Lavandin
