The Radiant Crescent is the foremost faction of magical learning in all of Aloria because of the trade between Aloria and the mainland there it is easy for scholars to trade information with magicians across the world.
Some members of the Radiant Crescent may claim allegiance to no kingdom, the wisest in the group know they exist at the sufferance of the king of Aloria who supports their pursuit of knowledge, and they have consulted extensively with the elves of Tanzerwald and know just how important the king is to the continued well being of the island.
