Sphinx Fang Ring
A ring which is said to be forged from the bones of the Old Gods, after The Great War was over.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
Whether made from actual Sphinx bones or not, an ancient magic even older than the Arches imbued this ring with great power. No one has touched it since it was originally forged, but every so often Ananda recruits the smartest minds she comes across to study the ring and see if they can unravel the magics within. While there have been no recorded accidents since the first, researchers who travel to the island where the ring resides never return.
History
The remaining Arch, Ananda, the First Arch of Aquas, learned of the existence of the ring in the year 600, just 50 years after the end of The Great War. Ananda was unsure of the original species of the one who forged it and first wore it, for by the time Ananda arrived to the location of an explosion that rivaled the largest volcano ever erupted on Tilandrial, a creature more mutated than anything she had seen before or since stood in the epicenter. It was at least ten feet tall hunched over, with a large mane that traveled down its spine to a tail that looked like a mix of a lion's and a dragon's. It's back was to Ananda when she arrived, but it turned to face her when it heard her approach. In short, it was a weird mix of sphinx, dragon, and whatever bipedal species put on the ring. It took all of Ananda's strength to overcome the creature and cut its hand off. The creature never lost their abomination features and to this day Ananda is still unsure of who was able to form such a ring and imbue it with such great and old power.

The ring itself is of an indeterminate material. The band is white, and there is a iridecent gem inlayed into the ring. Neither the material of the band nor the gem is known; or, if it is, Ananda is not willing to divulge the information.
