Old Pool Village
Brewhaven - Market Level - Southwestern Quarter
Old Pool Village is a slum, located on the western edge of the city. It has all the charm and amenities of village life, and the dangers and discomforts of living underground. Old Pool is where the non-dwarven commoners settle while they work to make their names in the mines or through some other venture on behalf of the Mountain.

The Pool of Radiance
A small pool of water, which glows with a flickering blue light. It is said to be haunted by a malevolent spirit, waiting for a worthy creature to possess. The local townsfolk avoid it.Hordi Tower Ruin
An ancient abandoned tower. The tower itself is little more than a jagged rockface, but it is rumored that one can access the lost mines behind it if they can find the entrance.The Cats' Scriptorium
A neglected scribe's workshop, served by a clowder of cats. The cats usually divide their time between playing, sleeping, and working on the pages of an arcane enchiridion. If asked by a wizard, they may produce a magical scroll of summoning, but no more often than once per month.
