The Baron's Diamond

The Baron's Diamond is a large diamond shaped tower shield that is surprisingly light and easy to manoeuvre, a warriors shield that offers plenty of protection to those who wield it in combat.    The shield is light blue in design with a velvet red backing and a gold coloured trim though it is actually adamantine to enforce the shield and make it practical for combat. In the centre of the shield is an exceptionally large diamond, roughly the size of a grown human man's head, this diamond catches and refracts the light.    This shield was possessed by Baron Fenrys Artagnan Junior's  father who used it in battle to turn The Circle into the most powerful and feared barony in Epizonia, until his untimely death left the Circle leaderless. Now, with his son coming of age, it is hoped they will inherit the shield and use it to lead The Circle as a barony once more.   The Baron's Diamond has, in the past, been a powerful defensive shield offering an AC bonus to it's wielder and allowing them to make powerful defensive shields in battle.
