Gelas Laut is a town in the north of Thalasia that is devoted to the finding, shaping, smoothing and cultivation of Sea Glass that is currently used in the design of Thalasian armour and weapons. The town is ruled by Head Gatherer Armatelle, a changeling who lived in Gelas Laut their whole life and are deeply opposed to technology or other methods of 'changing' the town. Generally, the town is filled with residents who often leave but it has very few visitors and new arrivals are always viewed with a cold distrust until they ingratiate themselves to the town culture.
